Coastal Flood Advisory
Issued by the National Weather Service at 2:25 PM EDT on March 16, 2010

... Coastal Flood Advisory remains in effect until 6 am EDT
Wednesday...

A coastal Flood Advisory remains in effect until 6 am EDT
Wednesday.

The water levels continue to remain elevated due to a lingering
north to northeasterly flow and also the freshwater runoff. As a
result, areas of minor tidal flooding are expected during the
times of high tide through tonight.

High tides on the Delaware River at Philadelphia will occur
between about 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM today, then again between
about 2:00 am and 4:00 am Wednesday.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A coastal Flood Advisory indicates that onshore winds and tides
will combine to generate flooding of low areas along the shore.
