Winter Weather Advisory
Issued by the National Weather Service at 3:00 PM EST on November 20, 2008

... Winter Weather Advisory now in effect until 6 PM EST Friday...

The Winter Weather Advisory is now in effect until 6 PM EST
Friday.

Cold air crossing over the Great Lakes will produce periods of
snow across the area through the night... and into the day on
Friday. The snow squalls on Friday may create near white-out
conditions for brief times. Snow accumulations by Friday afternoon
should range from 3 to 5 inches over much of the area.

Additional accumulations are possible Friday night and
Saturday... but the snow should be lighter than during the next 24
hours.

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered
roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while driving.
Motorists should be especially cautious on bridges and
overpasses... where slippery spots develop first. Stay tuned to
NOAA Weather Radio or your favorite source of weather information
for the latest updates. Additional details can also be found at...
